Why Postcards?
Postcards allow you to deliver crisp, clean messages at a fraction of the cost of some longer forms of direct mail. “Long” has its place and will not disappear, but sometimes a simple postcard provides a great introduction or it can be an excellent vehicle for following-up on other communication.
As we have shown, postcards can take on a variety of shapes. Canada Post actually encourages the use of oddly shaped mailers for pre-sorted Addressed Admail. If you are planning to design your own oddly shaped postcard, always ensure that it is within specification for the class of mail you plan to use. It is also a good idea to confirm with Canada Post that your postcard is within “spec” before going to print.
