The postcard is the simplest of all self-mailers. Both sides can be used for graphics and your message. Of course, if it is being mailed to a specific address, you must leave room for the mailing address and usually a postal indicia.

- Your message, generally comprised of a mixture of text and graphics.
- The postal indicia.
- The mailing address.
You have significantly more flexibility with the placement of the address and indicia when designing a postcard that is to be mailed as pre-sorted Addressed Admail. For example, the following illustration shows how the address and indicia are at right angles to the text. This would be acceptable as pre-sorted Address Admail but it would not be acceptable as Lettermail.

- Your message, generally comprised of a mixture of text a graphics.
- The postal indicia
- The mailing address
Highland Marketing specializes in postcard packages. Check out our pricing for rectangular (5" x 7") cards, oval postcards and Roundcards.
Cautionary Notes:
CN 1. All postcards must be at least .18 mm thick.
CN 2. If items are mailed as pre-sorted Addressed Admail, the maximum size for a Short/Long (standard) size postcard is actually larger than if mailed as Lettermail or as Machineable Addressed Admail.
CN 3. If you are planning an event on the other side of the country, and time is a little tight, you might want to give yourself some flexibility and design your postcard to conform with the Lettermail specifications for postcards. This way, if for some reason you did have to mail the pieces as Lettermail, you would not have to incur the much higher non-standard rates for Oversize postcards. However, if you have plenty of time, you can enjoy the extra real estate (space on the card) when mailing at the maximum size for pre-sorted Addressed Admail Short/Long postcards.
Our goal is to help make your direct marketing the best it can possibly be!
