Bubble envelopes come in a variety of sizes and can provide protection for samples and promotional items, when needed.
Because the maximum thickness for Short/Long Addressed Admail is 5 mm, bubble envelopes are too thick to qualify for mailing at Short/Long rates. However, most bubble envelopes can be use for the Oversize Addressed Admail category. Of course, on average, the Oversize Addressed Admail rates are about $0.12 more expensive than the Short/Long rates.
Also, there are really no stock bubble envelopes that qualify for the less expensive Dimensional Addressed Admail – Small category. However, if you use a size 000 bubble envelope and fold it past the normal closing point, so that the length does not exceed 180 mm (before sealing) you can, in fact, use it in the Dimensional – Small category. This will provide significant savings in postage.
