Gotcha Gang Feasts on Finest Foods, Best Wines

Waterloo ON Tuesday August 7, 2007

Living on the spoils of the misfortune of others, the Gotcha Gang hung out in the Muskokas this past holiday weekend, wining and dining like kings!

Showing no remorse for their mid-day “coup” on Friday, where they took an unsuspecting mailer for $7,000, they hired a limo and headed off to cottage country after counting out the cash.

Unfortunately, the weekend was not quite as enjoyable for their victim, who inadvertently printed the wrong postal indicia on 75,000 9” X 12” envelopes. Worse yet, because of the high profile nature of the mailing, the company logo and other graphics had been printed in full colour. The options were to reprint the envelopes or cover the incorrect indicias with laser labels containing the correct indicia. The mailer decided that they would reprint the envelopes at a cost of just over $7,000.

As the sun slowly sank into the waters of Lake Muskoka on Monday evening, the Gotcha Gang sat back chuckling about their ill-gotten gains, and wondered who might fund their next weekend getaway!
