The Waterloo District Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society is a vibrant, active chapter working with individuals and their families who live with Multiple Sclerosis. We provide educational programming, support services and equipment funding. Our Community Centre at 35 Belmont Ave W. in Kitchener provides a welcoming barrier-free environment.
We are committed to growing our services, cultivating community partnerships and implementing initiatives to improve community and individual awareness about this disease.
Come and browse through our library, or chat with other people who understand the challenges of MS. If you are an individual living with MS, we welcome your participation in any of our support groups and we encourage you to take advantage of our exercise program in collaboration with Link With Work. Our partnership with the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy provides opportunity for massages. We have a busy calendar of speakers that supports participant interaction and provides valuable information.
Our fundraising efforts also support the national initiatives for research to find a cure for this life-changing disease. We strive to be the voice of multiple sclerosis in the Waterloo Region and to develop leadership, programs, facilities and client services for people and the families living with MS.
